Maureen Fanning Jaros

Jaros Yadkinville – Maureen Fanning Jaros, 73, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born July 16, 1944 in Buffalo, NY to the late Ray and Nellie Shepherd Fanning.  Although she was born in New York, she lived most of her life in California and then moved to Yadkinville, NC.  She worked for several different banks and retired from SECU.  Maureen and her husband Joe enjoyed traveling and spending time together seeing parts of the world.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Fanning.  In addition to her husband, Joseph Michael Jaros, she is survived by her daughter, Lynn Marie Dees; grandchildren, Garrett Dees, Taylor Dees; step-children, Jackie Thompson, Warren Jaros; four step grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren.  Her memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 by the Rev.
