Melba Prim Hutchens

Melba Prim Hucthens,98, passed away on Sunday February 7, 2021 at Yadkin Nursing Center. She was born on September 3, 1922 in Yadkin County, NC; daughter of the late; Roy Johnson Prim and Ila Rose Vestal Prim. Other than her parents, her husband, Charlie Franklin Hutchens, 2 stepsons, Francis “Skip” Hutchens and Charles Dan Hutchens, sister, Laverne Prim Matthews, brother, Hal Monroe Prim; Survivors include her Special niece, Nancy Geisel (Edward) and Rosalie Lynch (Bobby) and family; several great nieces, including; April Mendenhall (Darian) and great-great Laci Mendenhall, great- great nephew, Austin Mendenhall; and two daughter-in-law’s, Sandra and Sara and their family. She will be laid to rest at Union Cross Friends cemetery. Special thanks to Yadkin Nursing Center for the great care she was given during her time there.
