Melinda Combs Pennington

Pennington Boonville-Melinda Kay Combs Pennington, 44, of Boonville, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020. She was born in Yadkin County on January 9, 1976 to James Roger and Sheila Ann Jarvis Combs. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Eugene Pennington; Grandfather, Tom Jarvis; Maternal Grandparents, Carly and Mandy Combs; and her Mother-in-Law, Mary Pennington. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Carlos Eugene Pennington, Jr.; two sisters, Jo Ann (Oscar) Gilley and Diane Combs and Ronnie Hutchens; two sisters-in-law; Melissa and Johnny Buelin and Anita and Sammy Bost; father-in-law, Carlos Pennington, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Chris wood, Jocie (Matt) Johnson, Kristen Snow, Kendall Snow, Adam Deyab, John Gilley, Zaina Deyab, Amber (Cory) Sayers, Andrea (Jordan) Sayers, Callie and Thomas Bost; along with 5 great nieces and nephews, grandmothers, Eva Lee Jarvis and Ester Pennington; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Union Grove with Pastor Steve Pope officiating.
