Melissa Hutchens Hicks

Hicks Yadkinville – Melissa Ann Hutchens Hicks, 39, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018. She was born October 30, 1979 in Yadkin County to Deborah Vestal Rochester.  She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Gray Hutchens; grandfather, Leo Vestal.  Surviving is her son, Dyllon Wayne Hutchens; fiancé, Jeff Coble; mother, Deborah Rochester; sister, Michelle (Nathan) Hutchens; brother, Donald Wilkins; grandmother, Margaret Vestal; aunts, Mary Suits, Diane Vestal; uncle, Michael Vestal; niece, Brydgett; nephews, Trae, Brayden; and other family members.  Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Courtney Baptist Church by the Rev. James Williams.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Hicks family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
