Michael Richard Jarina

Yadkinville Michael Richard Jarina, 75, passed away Tuesday June 2, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mike was born March 18th, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael and Marie Alcott Jarina. A guitar player, his musical career included The Bonneville’s, The Del Satins, The 5 Showstoppers, and duet with Rick Ricciardi. He loved fishing, woodworking, James Bond, Columbo, and Bryers Strawberry Ice Cream. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Krupka Jarina; and a brother, Edward Thomas Jarina. He is survived by three children Pauline (Edward) Brody, Debbie (Bill) Curlings, and Michael C (Michelle) Jarina; five grandchildren, Jessica Brody, Alicia (James) Money, Michael A Jarina, Joseph Brody, and Elizabeth Jarina; four great grandchildren, Jordan, Lohra, Ava, and Emma; and a sister Dee Wright. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Stephen Evans officating.
