Michael Giles "Scooby" Pyatt

Mr. Michael Giles “Scooby” Pyatt, 51, of East Bend, formerly of Wilmington, NC, passed away Friday at his home. He was born in Wayne County, NC on September 30, 1970 to Giles and Barbara Howell Pyatt. Michael was a die hard New England Patriots fan especially Tom Brady. He never let an opportunity go by without saying, I Love You. He knew he was going to be with Jesus. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Jennifer (Chris) Simmons and four nephews, David, Jonathan, Matthew, and Joseph. A private family memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, PO Box 1555, Wilmington, NC 28402 and their website is domesticviolence-wilm.org.
