Michael Lynn Simpson

Michael Lynn Simpson, 60, passed away Sunday April 16, 2017. He was born June 14, 1956 in Surry County to the late Elmer Olinger Simpson and Polly Key Simpson. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patricia Johnson Simpson; a brother Eddie Simpson. Surviving are his brothers Kevin (Marlene) Simpson, Keith (Shirley) Simpson; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday April 18, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. His funeral will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by the Rev. Randy Johnson. Burial will follow at Elkin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to be made to the Chatham Nursing Activities Department 700 Johnson Ridge Rd. Elkin, NC 28621 or Wake Forest Baptist Care at Home Hospice 126 Executive Dr. Suite 110 North Wilkesboro. NC 28659.
