Michal Sheree Russell, 57, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was born July 22, 1963 in Washington D.C. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Russell Smith; brothers, Jerome Russell, Richard Russell, Francis Russell. Surviving are her daughters, Mikei (Michael) Pinnix, Barbaree Mcilwain; grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas, Jaleel Thomas, Jyden Thomas, Sa’mariee McAuthur; sisters, Anya Brown, Dianne Murphy, Dionne Ijames, Verna Martin, Pauline Hauser; brother, Gregory Freeland. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Johnny Scott and the Rev. Anya Brown. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the family.
