Yadkinville Mr. Mickey Lane Hutchens, 58, changed worlds on February 7, 2022 at his home. “For there is no death, only a change of worlds.” Mickey was born July 8, 1963 in Yadkin County to Donald Hutchens and the late Avonell Key Hutchens. He was the owner of Native American Log Homes. He built log homes all over. Mickey took great pride in his work and he loved being outdoors gardening, mowing, working, or just relaxing and enjoying the day. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ryan (Whitney) Stamper; three grandchildren, Mayson, Jackson, and Emerson; his father and stepmother, Donald and Blanche Hutchens; his sisters, Pennie Hutchens (Ronnie) and Brenda Kimmer; a brother, Terry (Angie) Hutchens; two step brothers, Eddie (Liz) Baity and Robert (Janet) Baity; two step sisters, Debbie Baity and Kathy (Ronnie) Allen; an aunt, Betty Key; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Sheila Kelly and Jackie Wall; and his special K-9 companions, Ardie and Oakly. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in change of worlds by his maternal and paternal grandparents. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville.
