Mr. Michael Gray Martin, 59, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Baptist Hospital. Mike was born on July 5, 1963 in Yadkin County to the late Billy Gray and Allie Jessilene Martin.

Mike attended Starmount High School and was employed by K & W Cafeteria for 12 years. He enjoyed basketball and spending time with his son and grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Ross Webster. He is survived by his son, Mikel Shavon Martin (Hannah); grandchildren, Mikel Shavon Martin, Allie Mae Martin, Grayson King Martin; mother of son, Ruby Brown; Brothers, Kenneth Martin, and Jeffery Martin; sisters, Allie Martin, Etta (Willie) Phillips, Brenda Allen, and Janice Webster; several nieces and nephews. Special nieces, Deon Martin, Kayla Martin, and Chynna Martin; special nephews, Xavier Martin, Paxton Martin, Kyree, and Keandre Williams. 

A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville. Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
