Mildred Marie Joyner Haynes

Yadkinville Mrs. Mildred Marie Joyner Haynes, 85, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. Mrs. Haynes was born March 18, 1932 in Yadkin County to Berlin and Ollie Steele Joyner. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Irvin Haynes; a son, Paul Dennis Haynes; and a brother, Junior Joyner. She is survived by two children, Rick Haynes and Nina (Cliff) Tarlton; grandson, Eric (Tiffany) Lewis and his children, Jakob & Isaac Lewis; sisters, Maxine Wooten, Shirley Wooten, Vergie (Dickie) Brown, Glenda (John) Hopkins, and Gail (Jackie) Steelman; and two brothers, Gary (Sue) Joyner and Kenny (Donna) Joyner. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00PM, Monday, February 5, 2018 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. James Tallent officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice Home of Yadkin, 243 N. Lee Ave. Yadkinville, NC 27055.
