Millie Leigh Cheek Owens

Millie Leigh Cheek Owens, 72, passed away Monday January 13, 2020. She was born September 18, 1947 in Surry County to Herbert A. Cheek and Mary Harrison Collins. She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her husband Roger Owens; children Michael (Susie) Turner, Chris Turner, Rodney (Anna) Owens; mother Mary Harrison Collins; grandchildren Ashley Turner, Audrey Turner, Evelyn Owens, Bradley Owens; sister Clara (Dean) Holcomb. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Friday January 17, 2020 at Center United Methodist Church. Her funeral will follow the visitation at the church by Rev. Bill Foust and Rev. Bonnie Harris. Burial will follow in the Center Memorial Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Owens family.
