Minnie Royall Danner

Mocksville Mrs. Minnie Elizabeth Royall Danner, 75, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Care Center. Mrs. Danner was born December 30, 1944 in Yadkin County to Carl and Mamie Turner Royall. Her biggest joy was her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Danner was preceded in death by her husband, Mackie Wilson Danner; a grandson, Kyle Barneycastle; and a sister, Marylee Randleman. She is survived by two children, Karla (Jeffery) Barneycastle and Ricky Wilson Danner; grandchildren, Ryan (Miranda) Barneycastle, Jake Barneycastle, and Derek (Kaylie) Danner; sisters, Lois Richie, Francis (Glen) Freeman, and Catherine Mabe; a brother, Ronnie Royall; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong best friend, Margaret Shoffner. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Monday, March 2, 2020 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Greg McEwen and Rev. Kevin Hobson officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Sunday evening at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
