Misty Renegar Brown

Yadkinville Ms. Misty Lynn Renegar Brown, 53, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at her home. Ms. Brown was born January 4, 1967 in Yadkin County to the late Joe and Betty Lou George Renegar. Misty had a huge heart and always enjoyed donating her time and love to help with fundraisers. She loved her PVH family and enjoyed helping others. In addition to her parents, Ms. Brown was preceded in death by a nephew, Corey Miller. She is survived by three children, Crystal Spicer (Travis McSorley), Charity Chappel and Courtney Chappel; her fiancée, Christopher Chappel; step daughters, Autumn (Dylan) Shepherd and Jessica Jimenez; step grandchildren, Avalee & Kody Shepherd and Leniah & Darius Liminez; a brother, Joey (Marleania) Renegar; two nieces, Kellie & Lillie Renegar; nephews, Joseph, Adam, Isaac, & Luke Renegar; great nephew, Hunter Renegar; and many friends and extended family. Due to government restrictions, a private graveside service will be conducted at Yadkinville Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Tharpe officiating. Ms. Brown will be available for public viewing Sunday, May 10, 2020 from 8:00am to 5:00pm at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
