Mitchell James Chandler

Mitchell James Chandler, 56, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. He was born February 14, 1962 in Yadkin County to James Franklin Chandler and Avon Hudson Chandler. He was preceded in death by his father James Chandler; sister Pamela Hoots; brother Tim Chandler. Mr. Chandler was a member of Believer’s Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Barbara Chandler; children Allison Beamer (Tommy), Rachel Currier (Nate), Kevin Winegardner, Sarah Aiello; grandchildren, 10; mother Avon Chandler; sisters Beverly Bryant (Mark), Vicky Hutchens; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful K9 companion “Ginger”. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Dean Chandler and Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM prior to the service. The family would like to thank Yadkin County EMS and Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office.
