Mona Montez Vestal

Mona Montez Vestal, 63, passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 12, 1957 in Yadkin County, NC; daughter of the late; Leo Vestal and her mother, Alma Carter Vestal of Yadkinville. Survivors include her husband, Monty Harris, daughter; Nicole Stout, 2 sisters, Debbie Bolin and Betty Carter, grandchildren, Harley Stout, Abbigale and Gabriel Johnson. She was a member of Northwood Baptist Church, were she loved attending and enjoyed meeting everybody she saw. A celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm from Gentry Family Chapel with Dr. Allen Barker officiating. Mona can be viewed on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 8:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Northwood Baptist Church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude or to one’s favorite Veterans charity.
