Monty Lou Hutchens

Monty Lou Hutchens, age 80, passed away October 16, 2018. He was born October 11, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Burley and Sally Hutchens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Matthews Hutchens; brother Max Hutchens; sister-in-law Shirley Hutchens. He is survived by his son Darrell Hutchens (Connie Queen); brother Alvin Hutchens; niece Tracie Presnell (Jimmy). Mr. Hutchens was a great outdoorsman. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Richmond Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service. The family would like to thank Darrell, Jennifer, and Avery Hobson and unofficial adopted granddaughter Ashley Hobson for the exceptional loving care given to Monty and the staff of Yadkin Nursing Care Center.
