Myrtle Rosalie Lucas Cook

Boonville – Myrtle Rosalie Lucas Cook, 71, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020.  She was born May 8, 1948 in Wyoming County, WV to the late Giles Clifford Lucas and Myrtle Short Lucas.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Sarah Philyaw and Susan Kearney.  Surviving is her husband, Eddie Ray Cook; daughters, Deana (Chris) Cook, Samantha Cook (Frankie Marion); brothers, Johnny (Wanda) Lucas, James (Eva) Lucas, and Tommy (Brenda) Lucas.  Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. John Brown.  Burial will follow at Charity Baptist Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Memorials can be made to SECU Hospice Center, 243 N.
