Nancy Adams Overcash

Ronda – Nancy Adams Overcash, 77, of Ronda and formerly of Concord, NC, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 11, 2020. She was born April 16, 1943 to the late Herbert “Bozo” and Virginia Cline Adams. Nancy was a 1961 graduate of Odell High School, she attended Kings College in Charlotte and worked for L&N Tire in Charlotte. Nancy later began work in Cabarrus County Schools, where she was a kindergarten teacher’s aide and school bus driver. Once her children were out of elementary and middle schools, she began a career with First Union Home Equity Corporation before her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Penny Overcash Smith. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerald Overcash; daughters, Teresa Hollmeyer (Richmond) of Charlotte, Jill Gilleland (Rick) of Concord; son-in-law, Eric Smith; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Helms and Margaret Dover (Audy) both of Concord. Nancy also leaves behind numerous friends; all who will cherish so many memories. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
