Hall Yadkinville- Nellie Gray Todd Hall, 85, of Yadkinville, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. She was born on January 21, 1934 in Yadkin County to William D. “Bill” and Louisa Shermer Todd, Sr. She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Hall was a beautiful, loving, and caring person to all who came in contact with her. She graduated from Yadkinville High School and Lees-McRae College. She was retired from the N.C.D.O.T. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garlon Hall, a son Randal Gray Hall, and sisters Lou Hutchens, Peggy Spillman, and Gloria Long. Surviving are two sons Richard (Krislyn) Hall of Melbourne, Florida and Michael Edward (Joselyn) Hall of Maineville, Ohio; sisters Frieda (Fred) Pepper of Yadkinville, Sandra (Paul) Gianini of Port Orange, Florida, and Norma Johnson of Clemmons, brother William (Lisa) Todd of Yadkinville; grandchildren Michael Gray Hall and Carson Gray Hall. Funeral services will he conducted on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Gentry Funeral Home at 10:30 AM with Rev. Jimmy Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in the Forsyth Memorial Park Cemetery in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 until 10:30 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Maplewood Baptist Church, 1100 Maplewood Drive, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would like to thank the staff of Yadkin Nursing Care Center, Doris Yokeley, Maplewood Baptist Church for all of their prayers, and to Rev. Jimmy Lancaster.
