I was a darling little lamb
My parents cherished me
I was so young and innocent,
And from all sin set free.
My stay on earth was only short
For Jesus loved me too.
He made a home up here for me
With all the faithful and true.
I am a little angel now,
So safe from Satan’s harm
An angel came and gathered me
In Jesus tender arms!
