Sizemore Yadkinville – Nettie Ruth Sizemore, 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 5, 2017. She was born July 12, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late Wiley Leonard Goss and Nannie Taylor Goss. She married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Sam Sizemore on December 1, 1956 and they were faithful charter members of Northwood Baptist Church. She had the voice of an angel and was always on the front row of the choir. Designing beautiful flower arrangements was her passion for 33 years, working for G&J Floral and owning Countryside Florist. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 ½ years; granddaughter, Amy Star Sizemore; great grandson, Ashtyn Sizemore; three brothers, Elmer Goss, Virgil Goss, Reggie Goss; two sisters, Mildred Goss, and Kathleen Goss Smithy. She leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories, three sons, Michael (Rachelle) Sizemore, Jeff (Becky) Sizemore, Greg (Michelle) Sizemore; daughters, Tammy Shaw, Adelina Sizemore; ten grandchildren, Jeff Sizemore, Jennifer (Jim) Hooper, Justin (Tabitha) Sizemore, Jesse (Tara) Sizemore, Amy Sizemore, Anna (Anthony) Deleon, Rian Driver, Morgan Sizemore, Haley Shaw, and Dylan Shaw; fifteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; brother, Roy Goss; three sisters, Pauline Goss Smith, Opal Goss (Sherrill) Hutchens, and Lannie Goss Pugh. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Northwood Baptist Church by the Dr. Allen Barker and Dr. Hubert Wishon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
