Norma Jean Bobbitt Hemric

Norma Jean Bobbitt Hemric, 74, passed away Thursday February 3, 2022. She was born September 7, 1947 in Surry County to the late Ralph Bobbitt and Edith Coalson Bobbitt. Mrs. Hemric loved to read and she loved flowers. Surviving are her husband Lee Hemric; two sons Keith (Isabel) Brown, Eric (Luz) Brown; grandchildren Brian Sutton, Adria Sutton, Ashton Brown, Gyen Brown, Erika Brown; five great grandchildren; sister Faye (Lewis) Hash. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday February 12, 2022 at Peace Haven Baptist Church. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM following the visitation at the church by Dr. Jon Bowman, Rev. Keith Jones. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Hemric. Gentry Family Funeral service in Yadkinville is serving the Hemric family.
