East Bend - Patricia “Pat” Holley wood, 82, of East Bend was called to be with Her Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Pat retired as an administrative assistant from Jostens Publishing after many years. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Lorene Rakes Holley, and her oldest son, Noel Jackson Wood, Jr. She leaves behind her other two sons, Gary (Pat) Wood and Mike (Denise) Wood; also several siblings, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Pat loved to listen to her gospel music. She was a true example of a Godly woman who loved her Lord dearly. The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice for the love and support they have given during this difficult time. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at East Bend Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Allen Boggs. In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be sent to either East Bend Baptist Church c/o Missions, 112 Fairground Road, East Bend, NC 27018 or to the SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin, 243 East Lee Ave., Yadkinville, NC 27055.
