Patricia Dixon Phillips

Yadkinville Mrs. Patricia Ann Dixon Phillips, 69, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Willowbrook Health Care. Mrs. Phillips was born April 20, 1951 in Rowan County to Howard and Margaret Hutchens Dixon. She was a member of South Oak Ridge Baptist Church where she served as Choir Director for many years. Mrs. Phillips owned and operated Pat’s Beauty Salon for 44 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Carter, Brock, and Sophie Matthews; and a brother, Vernon Dixon. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, William Benjamin Phillips; two daughters, Lisa (Brock) Matthews and Julie (Matthew) Young; grandchildren, Luca & Ella Matthews and Cade & Reed Young; and two brothers, Larry Dixon and Tommy Dixon. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Sunday, December 6, 2020 at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Chris Hauser and Dr. Phil Beavers officiating. Mrs. Phillips will be available for viewing Saturday, Dec. 5th from 11:00AM to 5:00PM and Sunday Dec. 6th from 8:00AM to 1:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Oak Ridge Baptist Church Youth Fund, 1336 Lone Hickory Rd., Yadkinville, NC 27055. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Phillips family.
