Patricia "Trisha" Cockerham Reid

Reid East Bend-Patricia “Trisha” Cockerham Reid, 43, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2017. She was born in Surry County on December 24, 1973 to Willie and Pattie Shore Cockerham. Trisha’s life revolved around her daughter, Ansleigh, where she enjoyed watching Ansleigh play ball. Her hobbies included fishing, going to the beach, and especially her love for baking cakes. She was very fun loving and had many close friends. Her contagious laugh brought joy to everyone in the room. Surviving are her daughter, Ansleigh Belle Reid, her dog Oakley, her mother and father Willie and Pattie Cockerham, a sister, Wilma Kay Davis, a brother Tony and wife Jennifer Cockerham, and her nieces and nephews, Joshua Hobson, Brooke Davis, Ciera and husband Chad Faircloth, and Landreth Cockerham. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Gentry Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenny Gooden officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 4:00 prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in  Nebo Church of Christ Cemetery.
