Patrick T. Elton Miller

Mr. Patrick T. Elton Miller, Sr., age 64, of Jonesville passed away on August 29, 2021. Patrick was born on March 17, 1957 in Summit County, Ohio to the late James & Ethel Ingram Miller.  Pat grew up on the Portage Lakes of Ohio.  He enjoyed many water activities.  He loved to ride his motorcycle on the Blue Ridge Parkway, through Amish Country, or on any back road he could fine.  His favorite thing, however; was to visit his kids and grandkids in Ohio.  Pat was a member of the unofficial Elkin, NC McDonald’s philosophers’ club that meets whenever they feel like getting out of the house.  Pat loved the underdog.  He was good at putting down the bully and encouraging their victim.  He was a man of honesty. Whether he liked you or not, it was crystal clear.  If he liked you, he usually gave you a nickname.  

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia Glick Miller; children, Patrick II (Sherrie) Miller, James (Linda) Miller, Mary (Ted) Wood; grandchildren, Dakota, Devin, Dalton, Hayden, Matthew, Alanna, & Kaylee Miller, & AJ Wood.
