Patsy Louise Frye Norman, 79, passed away Monday, August 30,2021. She was born February 1, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Robert Benbow Frye, Sr. and Beulah Hunter Frye. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Keith Matthews; sister, Ellie Cunningham; and brother, Robert Benbow Frye, Jr. Surviving are her children, Terry (Scarlet) Matthews, Marty (Charlotte) Matthews, Starla (Harold McDonald) Norman; grandchildren, Robert (Kate) Matthews II, Heather (Philip) McDowell, Cody (Alicia) Matthews, Twinkle (Nick) Poindexter, Krystle (Preston) Gilliam; great grandchildren, M.J. Matthews, Robert Matthews III, Davis McDowell, Story McDowell, Hudson Matthews, Blaise Poindexter, Justice Poindexter, Trinity Poindexter, Rhett Gilliam, Emery Gilliam, Dallas McDonald; sisters, Barbara (Kenneth) Hutchens, Peggy Styers; and several nieces and nephews.
