Pattie Shore Cockerham

East Bend Mrs. Pattie Belle Shore Cockerham, 75, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Cockerham was born October 25, 1943 in Yadkin County to Fred and Martha Mathis Shore. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cockerham was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Reid; and two brothers, Donald Shore and Gerald Shore. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Willie James Cockerham; two children, Wilma Kay Cockerham and Tony (Jennifer) Cockerham; five grandchildren, Ciera (Chad) Faircloth, Joshua Hobson, Landreth Cockerham, Ansleigh Reid and Emma Brooke Davis; and two sisters, Vonda (Phillip) Willard, Mary (Danny) Pardue; and one brother, Gray Shore. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Brother Lawrence Warden, Rev. Steve McCollum officiating. Burial will follow at Nebo Church of Christ cemetery with David Shore speaking. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267 Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to her wonderful caregivers, Sherri Phillips, Jessica Hillard, Jill Jester, Shirley Whitaker, Tammy Allen, Pam Snyder, Toni Lanette Poore, and Misty Conway for their loving and devoted care.
