Yadkinville – Paul Nick Hutchens, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023.  He was born March 30, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late Nick and Turnie Hutchens.  Paul was a charter member of Maplewood Baptist Church and served as a Deacon.  He served in the Korean War.  Paul was a member of the Masonic Lodge #162 A.F. & A.M.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Lou Todd Hutchens, and his wife of 25 years, Patty Howell Hutchens; sisters, Gertrude Williams, Hazel Doub, Harriet Lakey, Myrtle Murphy, Ethel Willard, Frances Allred; brothers, Ben Hutchens and Blaine Hutchens.  Surviving is his daughter, Stephany Hutchens; grandchildren, Steven Travis (Jessica) Murphy, Tara Jo Steelman, Tanner Paul (Makenzie) Hutchens; great grandchildren, Riley Murphy, Karly Murphy, Lily Lou Hutchens.  His funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Pilot View Friends by the Rev. Josh Williams and the Rev.
