Paul Gray McCormick

Paul Gray McCormick,78, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at SECU Hospice Center, Yadkinville. He was born in Yadkin County, NC on November 9, 1940; son of the late Boyd Edmond McCormick and Lucy Pratt McCormick and was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church, served in the US Army Airborne in the 101 Division, was on the Richmond Hill Law School Board of Directors and Old Belt Farmers Co-Op Board of Directors. Paul loved going fishing and the outdoors. A celebration of Life service will be conducted on Friday, February 8, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Richmond Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Will Hamric and Rev. Grover Holder officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service. Survivors include his wife; Elizabeth Ellen Baumbach McCormick, children; Danny Tranter (Ginger), Sid Tranter and Paula McCormick (Mandy Cornatzer), grandchildren; Cody Tranter (Leah), Dylan Tranter (Megan), Kadin Toma, Lacey Tranter, great grandchild; Wyatt Tranter, sisters; Lois Cornelius and Cathy Sparks, a brother; Lloyd McCormick (Patricia). Preceded in death other than his parents are a brother; Wayne McCormick.
