Mosteller Boonville – Pauline Dezern Mosteller, 99, passed away July 4, 2019 celebrating with Jesus. She was born January 22, 1920 in Surry County to the late Rovy Dezern and Stella Smith Dezern Calloway. Pauline was the oldest member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Warren Jeter Mosteller; son, Russell O’Dean Mosteller; grandson, Dale Mosteller; sister, Irene Dezern Cave; infant brother, Thad Dezern; brother-in-law, Marvin Cave. Surviving are her children, Warren Phillip (Hellen) Mosteller, Rondal “Ronnie” Franklin (Brenda) Mosteller, Judy Pauline (Benny) Mosteller Davis, Brian Dezern (Sheila) Mosteller; grandchildren, Wesley (Rebekah) Mosteller, David (Denise) Mosteller, Randy (Lisa) Davis, Regina Davis (Danny) Draughn, Steven (Wendy) Mosteller, Matthew (Heather) Mosteller, Cody (Sarah) Mosteller, Enya Mosteller (Darik) Schumacher; grand daughter-in-law, LeRee Mosteller; great grandchildren, Michael (Hannah) Mosteller, Nathanial Mosteller, Danielle Mosteller (Adam) Brannan, Jordyn Mosteller, Elijah Mosteller, Savannah Mosteller, Dillon Draughn, Abby Mosteller, Kari Davis, Kendra Davis, Melia Mosteller, Tate Mosteller, Avery Mosteller, and Kira Schumacher; one great great grandchild on the way. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Shady Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Wesley Mosteller, the Rev. Frank Harmon, and the Rev. Brian Thompson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m., prior to the service, at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
