Peggy Huff Day

Peggy Huff Day, age 79, and Mary Regina Day, age 52, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021. Peggy was born November 20, 1941 in Yadkin County to the late Grover Aquilla Huff, and Bernice Irene Hunter Huff. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by a grandson, David Day Jr. Peggy is survived by her husband, Charles “Tom” Day; sons, Allen (Cindy) Day, and David (Nikki) Day; grandchildren, Ariel Day (Jared Sprinkle), Brittney Day, Ayden Day, and Austin Day. Regina was born May 9, 1968 in Forsyth County to Charles “Tom” Day and Peggy Huff Day. In addition to her father, Regina is survived by her daughter, Brittney Day; her brothers, Allen (Cindy) Day, and David (Nikki) Day, and several nieces and nephews. Peggy and Regina will lie in-state from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service for Peggy and Regina will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in the Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Dale Cave, and Rev. Josh Boles officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock of Ages cemetery. Mrs. Day will lie-in-state at the funeral home on Saturday, January 23, 2020 from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
