Philip Ray Harris

Phillip Ray Harris passed away on January 28, 2021 at home. Phillip was born on January 5, 1948 and adopted to the late Mabern and Charlotte “Lottie” Harris.  Phillip was the organist at First Presbyterian Church in Elkin for several years.  He was an avid piano player, very talented, and a piano teacher for many years.   He was a very special artist and created paintings. He was also a certified herbalist.  Those left to cherish his memory are a special cousin; Greta Bowman, special friends; Dominque & Dr. Andras Neumark’s Family, Landrey Davis, and Lance Newman.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Trent Dowell for helping Philip and for being a good friend to him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
