Priscilla Everidge Church

Church Hamptonville – Priscilla Ann Everidge Church, 52, passed away Wednesday, July 05, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born February 17, 1965 in Surry County to John Earl Everidge and Linda Gregory Everidge.  She told people to call her Percy, and had a love for names from her career as a postal carrier.  Percy had a love for clouds, food (especially chicken), and talking with strangers.  She would do anything she could to make a person laugh, because making others happy made her happy.  She was preceded in death by her father, John Everidge; father-in-law, Henry Church.  Surviving are her husband, David Lee Church; mother, Linda Everidge; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Church, Rebecca Ann Church; brother, Johnathan (Lois) Everidge; mother-in-law, Dorothy Church; several other family members.  A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Joel Riley.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Memorials can be made to a colon cancer charity of the donor’s choice.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Church family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
