Rachael Nicole Hutchens

East Bend – Rachael Nicole Hutchens, 21, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 28, 2022. She was born October 2, 2000 to Wade Eugene Hutchens, Jr. and Kathy Speer Hutchens. Rachael enjoyed spending time outdoors with her horse named “Black”. She loved watching her brothers play sports and spending time with her best friends, Jeff Weisner, Abby Davis, and Candi Mounce. Rachael enjoyed working at Northwood Stables. One of Rachael’s favorite snacks was pretzels and she would always make sure she had some close by to eat. She was a member of Forbush Friends Meeting. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mary Nell Hutchens and Margaret Speer. In addition to her parents, she was survived by her brothers, Neil Hutchens, Aaron Hutchens; grandfathers, Wade Hutchens, Sr., Thomas Speer; aunts, Ruth (Rodney) Lazenby, Susan Johnson, Annette (Vonson) Martin, Linda (Kelly) Hicks; uncle, David (Kelly) Speer; and several cousins and other family members. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Forbush Friends Meeting by the Rev. Mitchell See. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
