Ronda -  Mr. Ralph David Gregory passed away Saturday October 10, 2020, at his home, at the age of 90, and now is in the comfort of God’s hands.  He was born August 4, 1930 in Wilkes County to the late Morris and Cordie Johnson Gregory.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War.  Mr. Gregory lived for several years in Greensboro and worked for Cone Mills and AMP, Inc.  Upon his retirement, he moved back to Wilkes County where he was a member of Dennyville Baptist Church.  He served the church faithfully for several years as the Sunday School Superintendant.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Ann Gregory, and by his son, Kevin D. Gregory.  Surviving are his beloved and devoted wife, Freida Ann Gregory; his son, Galen Gregory; two sisters, Betty Jackson, Patty Mathis; two brothers, Claude (Betty Lou) Gregory, Willie (Mable) Gregory; lots of Nieces, Nephews, special friends, and his brother-in-law, Roy Gray.  The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Wednesday at Dennyville Baptist Church.  His funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM Wednesday in Dennyville Baptist Church by Rev. Joel Riley and Rev.
