Randy Mitchell Smyre

Randy Mitchell Smyre, 59, passed away Monday April 9. 2018. He was born February 25, 1959 in Iredell County to the late Robie Jackson Smyre, Sr. and Betty Chambers Smyre. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers James Smyre, Robie Smyre, Jr. and Jeffrey Smyre. Surviving are three sisters Shirley Scott, Janie Scott, Annette (Kenneth) Brooks; two sister-in-laws Brenda Hill-Smyre, Phyllis Smyre. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday April 11, 2018 at the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Puryear. Burial will follow at Yadkinville Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care given to Mr. Smyre.
