Rassie Jane Shore Hunter

Rassie Jane Shore Hunter, 83, passed away on Friday November 16, 2018 at Chatham Nursing Center in Elkin, NC. She was born in Yadkin County on November 7, 1935; daughter of the late Ruben Shore and Maude Money Shore. Rassie was a member Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church, attended West Yadkin Baptist Church and retired from Haines Hosiery Mill.She was preceded in death other than parents, a brother, Harold Shore and a sister, Maxine Shore Davis. Survivors include her three sons; Gordon Myers (Pam), Burley Myers (Sue) and Jeffery Hunter, four grandchildren, Bradley, Branden, Arron Myers and Braden Hunter and a brother, James Shore (Sherril).A celebration of life service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at 2:00 pm at West Yadkin Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Odom officiating. Burial follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till time of service at the church.
