Rebecca "Becky" Howell Whybrew

Rebecca “Becky” Howell Whybrew, 67, passed away Sunday October 25, 2020. She was born December 28, 1952 in Ashe County to the late Jonas Miller and Marie Severt Miller. Mrs. Whybrew was a member of Glory Light Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her husband, family and church family. Surviving are her husband of 22 years Greg Whybrew; children Kristy (Thomas) McNeil, Emily Howell, Steven (Crystal) Whybrew, Allen (Wendy) Whybrew, Gregory Whybrew; grandchildren Morgan, Matt, Haleigh, Gabriel, Devin, Jacob, Hannah, Mason, Makenze, Camdyn, Carlee; sisters Betty Lambert, Pauline (Larry) Patrick; brother Lloyd (Dony) Miller. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday October 31, 2020 at Glory Light Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Keith Jones and Rev. Leonard Fletcher. Family will receive friends after the graveside service. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of the Trauma unit at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, to Trooper D.L. Hamby and to the first responders for all the loving care given to Mrs. Whybrew. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for memorials to be made to Glory Light Baptist Church Youth Fund; 149 Glory Light Church Lane, Siloam, NC 27047.
