Hamptonville – Rebecca Ann Van Hoy Watson, 72, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021. She was born August 25, 1948 in Iredell County to the late Howard Hal Van Hoy and Margaret Lois Sloan Van Hoy. Surviving is her husband, James Allen Watson; children, Bryan (Lynne) Watson, Amy Mooe; grandchildren, Daniel (Sammy) Jenkins, James Watson, Shane Watson, Gabbie Cope; five great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Van Hoy Norman; and several nieces and nephews.
