Mr. Richard “Meatball” Clinton Scott, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021.  Mr. Scott was born April 15, 1964 in Davie County.  He enjoyed playing golf, shooting pool, and telling jokes.  His infectious smile and laugh will be dearly missed. 

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Paul “Sonny” Williams.  He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Scott Williams; a sister, Charlotte Flemming and husband Carlton; a nephew, Tevin Paul Flemming; an aunt, Anne McMiller; an uncle, Melvin White; and many cousins and friends. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Sam Puryear officiating.  Burial will follow at Boonville First United Presbyterian Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentry Funeral Service to assist the family with the funeral cost.
