Richard Raymond Baity, 58, of Yadkinville, died on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on August 4, 1964 to Bobby Gray and Katie White Baity. Mr. Baity was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fresh water and salt water fishing and was an avid outdoorsman who like to hunt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Starr Everidge Baity.

Surviving are a son, Richard Gray Baity and a sister, Monnette Caudle.

There will be a memorial service Monday, January 2, 2023 at Gentry Funeral Chapel in Yadkinville at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Lancaster officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
