Ronald Gray Shore

Mr. Ronald “Gray” Shore, 84, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023. He was born in Yadkin County on October 15, 1939 to Fred and Martha Shore. Gray was a faithful member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. He was a self-employed plumber for many years and enjoyed his job. Gray will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Melissa Gray Shore; grandson, Jeremy Collins; brothers, Donald and Gerald Shore; sister, Patty Cockerham; and nephew, Donnie Shore. He is survived by the love of his life, Patsy Driver; children, Melissa (Curtis) Mundy, Skip Wright, Ronald “Rabbit” (Kerry) Shore, Donald “Bear” Shore, and Tim (Kim) Driver; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Vonda (Phillip) Willard and Mary (Danny) Pardue. 

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Doug Cothren officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local little league baseball organization. The family would like to thank Chatham Nursing and Rehab for the loving care given to Gray and his family. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Shore family.
