Robert Stanley Rivett

Mr. Robert Stanley Rivett, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was born January 25, 1939 in Grundy County, Illinois to the late Ernest and Beatrice Spinney Rivett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Spezio; his siblings, Margaret Johnson, Paul Rivett, John Rivett, Charles Rivett, Burt Rivett. He is survived by his children, Steve (Brenda) Rivett, Carey (Curt) Spezio; granddaughter, Shelby Spezio; his best friend and significant other, Sandra Glover; step-children, Kathy, Julie, Deanna, Darren; step-grandchildren, Justin, Alyssa, Cameron; step great-grandchildren, Jordy, Liliana, Gianna, Hudson. Mr. Rivett was a veteran of the US Airforce. Robert was a lifelong Mason and was in the Shiners, and he enjoyed antique cars. The family would like to thank a special family friend, Chris Holthouser for everything she has done to help Robert and his family.
