Mr. Ronald Allen Adams “Ronnie”, age 75, passed away on February 23, 2022. Ronnie was born in Surry County on June 30, 1946 to the late Hobert Warren and Ethel Geneva Bryant Adams.

Ronnie was very active and loved being outdoors and enjoyed all kinds of music. He made friends with all the neighborhood animals, including Mr. Vestal’s horse who whinnied to get his attention and a treat the moment he saw him. Ronnie loved kids and little Deacon was his little buddy.  Ronnie enjoyed sharing his childhood and college stories with family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Phyllis Ann Vanhoy Adams; daughters, Jennifer Windsor, Amanda (Keith) Myers; grandchildren, Sophie, Nathan, Eva, Lexi, Hayden; brother, Larry (Linda) Adams. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1 PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Rev. Gordon Macemore officiating and with full military honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346.  The family will receive friends at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville after the service.
