Ronald "Keith" Cook

Ronald “Keith” Cook passed away on May 25, 2021 at home. Keith was born on January 27, 1955 to Marvin Junior & Ruth Laster Cook. He was preceded in death by his father; Marvin Junior Cook.  Keith was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church.  Keith enjoyed time spent outdoors, farming, and raising cows.  He loved time spent with his family and grandchildren. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Libby Cook; sons, Jeffrey (Jodi) Cook, Jared (Emily) Cook; grandchildren, Courtney Johnson (fiancé Travis Penninger), Austin, Easton, & Savannah Cook; mother, Ruth Cook; sisters, Cookie (Johnny) Baynes, Sharon Ruth; brother, Donnie (Brenda) Cook.   

The family is eternally grateful for the loving care given to Mr. Cook by all his doctors at the VA and Mountain Valley Hospice.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2 PM, on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Fall Creek Baptist Church in Jonesville.  The funeral service will follow at 2 PM, officiated by Rev. Don Hudson.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with full military honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346.  Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
