Ronald Montgomery Jester

Yadkinville Mr. Ronald Montgomery Jester, 77, joined his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Ronald was born November 9, 1945 to Claude Monroe and Nellie Gray Ray Jester. He was a lifelong member of Union Grove Baptist Church. There he grew in his faith, and lived each day for the Lord. Ronald enjoyed riding his bicycle, going to church, and his daily walks in town visiting with people. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jester was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Holcomb and Nancy Williams; and brothers, Claude Jester Jr., Horace Ray Jester, and Billy Roger Jester. He is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Johnny) Myers; his brother, Donnie Jester; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday December 19, 2022 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Goodin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the church. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Patriot Living for the wonderful care given to Ronald. Also, to his breakfast friends at Ace’s and all the Yadkinville businesses that welcomed Ronald each day. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Jester family.
