Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Ray Moxley, 73, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Ronnie was born February 8, 1948 in Yadkin County to Kim and Dorothy Brown Moxley.  He was a member of N. Oak Ridge Baptist Church where he served as treasurer for many years.  Ronnie was a truck driver for several years before starting his own business preparing taxes and keeping books.  He enjoyed playing the harmonica, fishing, hunting, playing Rook, and growing grapes, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Casstevens; and a sister-in-law, Janice Moxley.  He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Frankie Lou Everidge Moxley; two children, Scotty (Victoria) Moxley and Allison (Drew) White; grandchildren, Lisa (Victor) Cruz, Shane Moxley, Olivia Moxley, Waylon Stone, Jordan (Jessica) Key and Paige (Austin) Brown; great grandchildren, Thiago, Silas, Kinsley, Colton, Addie, Makennah, Walker, and Ellie; sisters, Grace Ann (Byron) Campbell, Frances (Ken) Mabe, and Janice (Herman) Brown; brothers, Tom (Kathleen) Moxley and Bobby Moxley; and several special friends and family members.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at N. Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Link, Rev. Jimmy Pardue, and Rev. John Altizer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Ronnie will be available for viewing from 11:00AM to 2:00PM, prior to the service inside the church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to N. Oak Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 N. Oak Ridge Road Boonville, NC 27011.
