Rose Macy Stanley

Hamptonville Mrs. Rose Lee Macy Stanley, 80, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Stanley was born July 23, 1940 in Yadkin County to Edmond and Hattie Wood Macy. She enjoyed working in her yard and she loved everyone she met. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Allen Stanley; a grandson, Daniel Stanley; a sister, Marjorie Webb; and a brother, Charles Macy. She is survived by two children, Alisa (Jim) Erts and Keith Stanley; adopted daughter, Kim Sain; a grandson, Jesse Erts; sisters, Lucille Webb, Cornelia Sloan, Cynthia (Noah) Anderson, and Alda Tesar; and brothers, Billy Macy and Claude (Jean) Macy; and her special cat, Kitty. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Paul UMC cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Stanley family.
